Where Has The Last 5 Months Gone!!

Just the other day a stranger stopped me and sweetly looked down at Lilly and asked "How old is your sweet baby?" I smiled like every Mom does and said "14 weeks". That night I was lying in the bed thinking about the response I had given the lady at the store and ran to the calender. I discovered Lilly had long surpassed 14 weeks and she was about to turn 20 weeks old. I shouted to Chris "LILLY IS ABOUT TO BE 5 MONTHS OLD AND I STILL THINK SHE IS 3 MONTHS OLD" The saddest of all is, I documented everything with Ava and NOTHING with sweet Lilly. With Ava if someone had asked "How old is your baby?" I would have told them her age down to the minutes. I could tell you when Ava slept through the night, the first smile, when she rolled over, her first tooth, her first fall, and the list could go on and on. It seems like with Lilly she is doing things way to fast or I am way too slow to document them in her baby book. I CAN tell you one thing about Lilly..... she has to be a GIFT FROM ABOVE because she is by far the sweetest, most laid back baby. Take a look at where the last 5 months have gone!!!

Don't feel bad! That always happens with the second child. I can't say first hand, because I was the first. I do have less pictures of my second dog than my first (ha, ha)! Lilly will be just fine!

You are so right. The second time around flies by. You will be able to enjoy her more because you know what you are doing. She is a sweet baby. Can't wait for her and Ella to play together.

Can't believe she is almost five months! She is so sweet, so content. Sweet Lilly!

It all goes by so fast! Because Liam is my first, I have documented everything (like you did with Ava)...but it's amazing how quickly I forget things and what it's like to have a little baby. I know you're enjoying her. All of that special time together is far more important than notes in a baby book, so you're doing the right time and using your time in the best way. I love seeing pictures of her sweet little face. Hopefully I can get down there and hold her while she will still be held!

Tell me about it! I don't even have half as many pictures either of my little Emma Rose! That's an idea, just take pictures (with dates) and we can catch up on those books later!
